Teeth in a day:

Teeth in a day refers to the process of replacing old dentures (or transitioning patients who have failing teeth) to a new full set of non- removable teeth. This state-of-the-art implant system provides a natural, functional and esthetically pleasing smile – in just a single day!

While actual surgical treatment does occur in only a single day, it is necessary to schedule pre- and post-treatment appointments in order to achieve an amazing end result.

Benefits of “Teeth in a Day” implant retained new teeth:

  • Reduced treatment time
  • Bone integrity is preserved for long lasting esthetics
  • Increased patient comfort and esthetics

Having a strategic and systematic treatment plan is prudent – here is the appointment sequence:

Every dental implant procedure begins with a free consultation. At this consultation, Dr. Waldman learns about you, your health and dental wishes.

If Dr. Waldman feels that you are a good candidate for this treatment and you have decided that you are ready to move forward with dental implants a comprehensive exam, and diagnostic records (study models, full facial photos, etc.) will be taken. A dentalscan and CT scan will also be arranged(applicable fees apply to these diagnostic records).

With the information provided by the photos and scans, Dr. Waldman will be able to study and create a customized treatment plan just for you Please contact us.

Behind the scenes, Dr. Waldman is planning your final smile. With the integration of new digital technology, you can view your new smile on line and even make suggestions for changes that you might wish to have.

At this appointment, Dr Waldman’s recommendations and findings are presented to you in a simple and easy to understand format. We will provide all the detailed information that will assist you in making an informed decision.

Should you wish to proceed with the treatment recommendations, you will meet withour Treatment Coordinator who will finalize your treatment plan and begin to prepare everything you’ll need for your procedure.

This is the big day!!

When you wake up from your procedure, your dental implants will be in place and you’ll go home with a temporary set of teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. And the best part is that you can sleep through the whole procedure and wake up to your new smile that you have already approved.

It is important to keep in mind there is a recovery period following your dental implant procedure. Typically patients will be on a soft food diet for several weeks to a few months while their implants integrate. During this time, most patients will return for several checkups to ensure that everything is healing properly; all post-op checkups are at no additional cost.

During the recovery phase, Dr. Waldman will review any esthetic or functional concerns. This is your opportunity to discuss any changes you wish to make from your temporary set of teeth. Dr. Waldman will review any desired changes and have them implemented so that you can have the smile of your dreams.

If you have some teeth in your opposite jaw, it is important to maintain any routine dental hygiene appointments during this time.

This is the final step!

When your mouth has finished healing (usually around six months after your treatment appointment)and your new dental implants have stabilized, we will replace your temporary teeth with your new permanent teeth.

The first step to replacing your old loose dentures with new fixed permanent teeth and eliminating your frustration of not being able to eat the foods you love begins with a free consultation. Call us today to arrange your appointment!
